Public Transportation
The center of Zurich is only 12 minutes from our B&B by either S-Bahn or bus. We recommend you buy a return card with or a card for six return trips for the routes 50 and 10. The so-called 9 o’clock pass is another option if you would like to travel around the whole canton of Zurich. If you are passionate about museums you may choose to buy a 3 day tourist pass. Bus route number 161, 3 minutes on foot from the B&B at the stop "Auf Brunnen". With lots of luggage, this is the best choice.
Route number 165 an 8 minute walk to the bus stop by the lake called "Bendlikon".
The bus arrives in Zurich at the Buerkliplatz. This is also the departure point for the boats which cruise the lake and also where the famous shopping street Bahnhoftrasse begins.
Friday and Saturday the public transportation run 24 hrs.
Trains: The train station is 7 minute from the B&B. Take S-Bahn line number 8 or 24.
Travel to the Airport: S-Bahn. Change trains at the main station in Zurich.
You can also reach Zurich by boat which offers a nice change of scenery.
